1. Purpose
The Transformation Network Ltd (“TTN”, “we”, “us”) is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and secure digital learning environment for all children, families, and educators.
This policy outlines TTN’s expectations, safety protocols, and guidelines for the appropriate, responsible, and Christ-honouring use of technology across:
KTA+ Premium Programs
Kingdom Thinkers Academy learning spaces
Thinkers Academy Private Tuition
iProject International 1:1 sessions
All TTN-hosted online platforms
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
All students
All parents and guardians
All TTN educators, mentors, staff, contractors, and volunteers
All devices used during TTN programs
All communication channels associated with TTN services
This policy supports and aligns with:

TTN Code of Conduct
TTN Terms of Service
State-based child protection laws
Australian Cyber Security Centre and eSafety Commissioner guidelines
3. TTN Commitments
TTN ensures:
3.1 Safe Digital Learning Environments
Secure, monitored online classrooms
Approved platforms only
Clear supervision protocols
Age-appropriate safety expectations
3.2 Educator Training & Compliance
All staff receive training in:
Online child safety
Cyber security awareness
Professional boundaries
Reporting digital safety concerns
3.3 Ethical Technology Use
TTN uses technology in a manner consistent with:
Child safety laws
Privacy requirements
Christian values of integrity, respect, and wisdom
4. Approved Platforms & Communication
4.1 Approved Tools
TTN uses only vetted, secure digital platforms, including:
TTN/KTA+ learning communities
Zoom or equivalent secure video platforms like Lessonspace
Email communication using TTN-approved addresses
4.2 Staff Communication Requirements
TTN staff must:
Only communicate with students via TTN-approved platforms
Maintain transparency (no private communication channels)
Keep communication purposeful, respectful, and professional
Never use personal accounts to contact students
4.3 Students & Parents
Students and parents must:
Use platforms responsibly
Avoid private, hidden, or disappearing-message apps
Never add educators on personal social media
Communicate concerns through official channels
5. Online Safety Expectations for Students
Students must:
5.1 Conduct Themselves Respectfully
Speak kindly and appropriately
Treat others with dignity
Avoid disrespectful or harmful behaviour
5.2 Use Technology Responsibly
Participate with cameras on (except with teacher approval)
Keep microphones muted unless speaking
Use learning tools only for their intended purposes
5.3 Protect Their Own Safety
Do not share private or identifying information
Tell a parent or teacher immediately if something feels unsafe
Stay within monitored digital spaces
Never bypass or disable safety settings
5.4 No Unsafe or Inappropriate Content
Students must not access, share, or display:
Violence
Sexual or explicit content
Swearing or offensive material
Memes, videos, or content not related to learning
Malware, pirated materials, or unsafe files
6. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Parents are expected to:
6.1 Supervise the Digital Environment
Ensure children use devices in visible, safe locations
Monitor internet usage appropriately
Support safe behaviour online
6.2 Maintain Secure Technology
Provide up-to-date devices
Install antivirus and device protections
Ensure stable internet and appropriate filtering
6.3 Partner With TTN
Report concerns promptly
Maintain respectful communication
Reinforce TTN’s cyber safety expectations at home
7. Device & Internet Requirements
Families must ensure:
A functioning computer or tablet
Stable high-speed internet
Working webcam and microphone
Quiet, supervised learning space
TTN is not responsible for:
Home internet quality
Household device security outside TTN sessions
Technical issues arising from parent-controlled filters or settings
8. Online Class Safety Protocols
8.1 Educator Visibility
Educators must remain visible on camera
Students must be visible unless exempted for a specific reason
8.2 Breakout Room Safety
TTN uses strict breakout room protocols:
No staff member will meet a child alone in a non-visible context
Breakout rooms (if used) must have dual-access visibility or educator oversight
8.3 Recording Sessions
TTN may record sessions for safety and quality purposes
Students may not record sessions under any circumstances
8.4 Behaviour Management
Educators may:
Mute student microphones
Turn off student webcams when appropriate
Remove a student from a session for safety or behavioural reasons
Notify parents when intervention is required
9. Prohibited Online Behaviour
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
Bullying or harassment
Sharing harmful or explicit content
Recording or screenshotting sessions without consent
Using unapproved chat functions
Pretending to be another user
Attempting to contact staff privately
Attempts to hack, disrupt, or bypass systems
Sharing private Zoom links or passwords
Joining classes from unsafe or inappropriate environments
Any breach may lead to removal from live sessions, disciplinary action, or termination of enrolment.
10. Cyber Security Commitments
TTN maintains strong cyber security practices:
Secure platforms and data systems
Staff device protection standards
Regular password and account hygiene
Incident response procedures
Families agree to:
Use strong passwords
Protect account access
Avoid sharing student login credentials
11. Reporting Digital Safety Concerns
Concerns may include:
Inappropriate content
Suspicious messages
Breaches of boundaries
Cyberbullying
Unsafe student behaviour
Technical vulnerabilities
Reports should be made immediately to:

TTN will:
Investigate concerns promptly
Seek clarity from families where necessary
Escalate to Executive Team
Notify authorities if required under mandatory reporting laws
12. Incident Response
In the event of a digital safety incident, TTN will:
Ensure student safety
Notify parents
Log the incident
Secure affected accounts or systems
Provide guidance and support
Make a mandatory report where required
Review and improve preventative measures
13. Breaches & Consequences
Breaches of this policy may result in:
Warning or coaching
Temporary removal from class
Restricted platform access
Suspension from programs
Termination of enrolment
Reporting to authorities (if legally required)
14. Policy Review
This policy is reviewed:
Annually
After significant incidents
In response to legal or technological changes
Feedback from families, educators, and students is welcomed.
15. Acceptance of Policy
By participating in TTN programs or services, all students, parents, and educators acknowledge and agree to comply with this Technology & Cyber Safety Policy.
